Free Graphics Database Now Live!

I’ve been working on developing a free graphics database, which is now live at Picasa

All images are offered for use by non profit organisations, under a non profit creative commons license. At the moment there are only a few images in the database, but all are my original work and take time to produce~ there will be more images offered as they become available.

This developers’ guide at Techsoup is an invaluable resource for non profits, particularly if your site designer is not a developer to start with. A warning though: some of the hints may be difficult for those without substantial experience (or a paid host) to implement. Regardless of this there are still tips most organisations can implement immediately to improve the experience of users with disabilities.

Establishing a community purpose library

Community purpose organisations are always looking for ways in which they can service their membership. A community library represents a valuable resource for members, and can be established quickly and cheaply if you take a creative approach.
